"The Making of McKinney Women" is a 10-minute documentary about how Nebraska Wesleyan Theatre Department worked with the New York Playwright Kailey Marshall in creating a new Musical from the ground up.
I attended rehearsals to capture the process and conducted interviews with the playwright Kailey Marshall, the director Talea Bloch, Choreographer Anne McAlexander, and two actors Lea Ramos and Benjamin Mitnick.
Not many people get to experience what it is like to put on a new musical so I felt that it was important to document and share this unique experience.
