"If I Can Still Breathe, I'm Fucking Fine" is a short film directed, written, and filmed by Jaime Orton.
I made this film for my Directing II class. I always knew I wanted to dabble in film, but no scripts were speaking to me so I decided to write my own.
Ivy, Cameron, Luca, and Riley have been friends since childhood, yet as they move onto the next chapter of their lives they learn the struggles of letting go of the people who were once your closest companions.
The mixture of camcorder footage and 1080p footage represents the past and present. The memories of the "good old days" are only snippets just like how we think of memories. The present can feel long and drawn out yet sometimes moves so fast that we can't control ourselves.
